We have numerous meetings where we have the same items on each meeting in addition to the topics- can we get the ability to add items to meeting templates.
Although having the meeting topics is helpful, the bulk of the content for each section has to be manually added by each project team. A more robust meeting minutes template functionality is needed to provide corporate consistency across projects. As it stands now, a separate reference document is needed to copy and paste the standard meeting items' content.
Our organization also would benefit tremendously if the Meeting Meeting template allowed for template + Add Item's. The Topic is helpful but we have to manually add the same Items, each project. We also prefer to keep a standard format to these topics and their Items, to keep our documents looking consistent and professional.
I strongly support the idea of bringing the items to meeting agenda templates too. Not to have them is, in fact, a very weird omission.
In addition to normal use we would like to utilize meetings tool to create agendas as standalone checklists for certain recurrent project phases. The functionalities in the meetings tool of ACC would make this very effective, since one could have topics as checklist item categories, and the items would be, well, checklist items. The item status can then be easily followed and kept up do date with the standard Open - Ongoing - On Hold - Closed - Information tags.
Furthermore the idea is that the checklist would be in Agenda -status until every item is either Closed (done) or Information (not applicable) state, after which it would be set in Minutes -status, denoting checklist is complete.
It would be nice to do a template for a toolbox talk with actual content. So you could have a january template and then push that meeting to all jobs. If we have the PDF article in the meeting template, it would be very useful instead of just the generic format.
Hopping on here to voice my support for this idea. Really wish we had the ability to preconfigure meeting items for our meeting templates. It would help us to be able to preconfigure typical meetings that follow a known structure like project kick-offs, QA/QC meetings, etc.
I agree. The template without the items in the topic seems a bit unnecessary as the list under the topics is longer than the number of topics, generally.
