A feature that is missing from Takeoff that is commonly found in other quantity takeoff platforms is the ability to apply a multiplier to project Locations. This is essential for projects with typical unit types like apartments and hotels or mid-rise / high-rise buildings with identical floors. Currently the only work around is to copy and paste takeoff numerous times which is extremely tedious especially if you have to go back and change anything... or do the math for the multiplier of the unit types/floors outside of Autodesk takeoff.
A multiplier feature would be especially helpful now that Estimate is available in the Preconstruction platform. Estimate is almost useless for multi-unit / mid-rise / high-rise projects without that feature as there is no easy way to capture the full scope of the project and build a complete estimate without a lot of redundant takeoff work.
