Our teams use the Desktop Connector function extensively - however one of the main issues is when sharing the file location from the windows environment, it uses the "cached" location of the file which is obviously unusable by other users. It would be helpful and IMO necessary to be able to create the link from the web location (not the cached location) when sharing the link.
It's time consuming to use the desktop connector, then go into the web portal to choose the shared location. Kinda defeats the purpose of desktop connector in the first place.
Example below of a file shared from desktop connector (I have ****'d out some of the sensitive information)
C:\Users\**** (User name) \DC\ACCDocs\**** (Hub name)\**** (Project Name) \Project Files\1.0 Project Management\2.2 ** Drone Videos
