Comments within reviews has raised a few issues for us:
1) The comments cannot be exported or viewed by anyone outside of the review
2) Reviewers instinctively review with comments when we insist on them using markups as the document needs to be printed for legal requirement.
3) The reviewer forgets to publish their markups. This is a disaster for the contractor when they print it out.
It would be great to have the options to:
1) Turn off comments in a review flow.
2) Have enforced published markups within a review. Mark ups are great for general notes and comments but in a review they should be formally applied as markups within a review. The review comments should be differentiated from general mark ups to prevent the above mentioned issues.
