In the Assets > Settings > Custom Fields, the default fields for Manufacturer and Model can have their name changed. This is great as it allows customisation to meet client standards. But the Barcode field cannot be changed.
This Idea is to allow changing the Barcode field so that its name can also adhere to client standards.
A renamed Barcode field should continue to allow this field to be used for barcode scanning on the mobile app.
