textures

Hi all,

my question is, how can I see the model without textures? Is it possible? As we don´t care about them, would it be better just to show the model black and white, simplest.

Thank you very much.

Ignigo

Hello,

In fact, the view is poor and dark. its hard to see elements. In Naviswork everything is showed with a better contrast and ligth, perfect to share geometry.

We would like to know if its possible to improve. Thanks again. Ignigo

Hello Ignacio,

Thanks for posting your question to the forums. Custom textures are not supported in A360 as it's WEB Based and would not know where to find these textures. There are some settings you can play with inside of the viewer, to see if you get a better looking view. You can also try creating a DWF file and uploading that to see if it looks better.

Hope this helps and thanks for posting to the forums.

Hi Ignigo,

If we are talking about a Revit model, you can use the methode described in this document from pages 11-15 as follows:

http://aucache.autodesk.com/au2011/s...4025_Stine.pdf

You could also use Autodesk LIVE rendering styles to achieve a display with blank materials and explore your project in a prerendered interactive model.

You find more about this approach here:

http://www.autodesk.com/products/live/live-product-tour

I hope this helps.
