measuring in a360 mobile gives wrong result compared with design

I have opent a IDW file on my ipad in a360 viewer. when I measure a line the result is wrong.

The result is in mm which is good, but the result is the original size times 25,4.

so a pipe is original 10mm long but it gives me 254mm on my ipad.

I dont now how to fix this problem and get the right measurement on my ipad.

I hope you can help me

Hello Ruud,

Thanks for posting your question and welcome to the forums. If you open this same file on the A360 WEB site, is it still not accurate?

Thanks in advance for checking this for us and please let us know.

When I open the file on the a360 WEB site the measurement is accurate.

I think the problem is in the mobile app.

the probleem is also on my samsung galaxy tab.

It seam that the mobile app dosnt take the scale correctly.

Also when I start the measurement on a part en end on a part the measurement is wrong, but when i start the measurement on a part en end on a other line the measurement is better but than the scale is wrong. see the foto's

Mate the problem is you are measuring in paper space

you need to be in model.

Hi Ioan,

I just tested a dwg file on my end as well and it seems to be working ok for me, so i'm wondering if you can share your file with us so that we can check it from our end possibly?

it sounds like you've already checked the scale settings of the file, correct?

Send public downloadable link please.

Thanks,

hi Ioan,

In the mobile app, in the upper right corner you should see a small GEAR icon. Select that, and then change the units to Decimal Inches, (or whatever the correct units should be if that isn't it) and then try your measure's again.

That seemed to work for me with your file.

Let me know if you still have troubles.

Thanks,

Hi Brett,

I do not want to hijack this thread but I m having the same problem. I have changes the unit of measure on the app setting but still get the same exaggerated measurements. Could you assist please? I have attached the file and a few others just to be on the safe side.

FYI - Im using a Galxaxy Note S3

Many thanks

I am still having this issue. Current in Autocad, correct in A360/Fusion web browser, incorrect in the mobile A360 app (Galaxy Tab A).

Is there a solution yet?
