vaulting files and keeping relationships

Hi all,
I’m new to vault.
I have pack n go'd a top-level idw, which includes the parts, but no associated part idw's with them. Can it be done to include all the idw's?
So, if I have to do all these manually, one by one, will all the relationships be lost from the original top level assem?, because I am over writing the original pack n go files, to keep the associativity
Clear as mud?
Any tips would be aap'd

The pack and go tool has an option for finding all of the related (idw, ipn, etc) files associated with the ipt/iam files. It should be the "search for referencing files" tool near the bottom of the window.
