Can't Figure Out How Activate Maya LT

So I purchased Maya LT and it took me 2 days to finally install it into my windows 8. Very frustrating. Finally Autodesk on Twitter sent me a link that worked BUT somehow it still a student version. I just noticed it still a student version. I have the product key and avtivation code but I can't seem to find where to type it in. I go to "HELP" and to "About Maya LT" and I click to activate it, tells me what to do to avtivate it, but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
