Hi all,
I'm new to 3ds Max and I have been trying to render a simple scene but all I got is a plain white render?
I set up a physical camera and Vray sun, and no adjustments has been made.
See attached screencaps.

Hi @Anonymous;
as @rendermaster stated, this is an exposure issue. You can either;
-hit "8" and apply a VRay Exposure Control and tune it with the EV Amount (lower values will show brighter, higher values will show darker images)
-Or use a Physical Camera and under Exposure Tab, "Install Exposure Control" and tune the brightness with EV parameter again.
Kind regards;
please help me how to fix it 3dsmax 2014 vray 3.6
Yep, I agree with K. Gohan that is the best way to solve the issue.
If you still having difficulties in using Vray, I created an article about uses of V-Ray. Some of it is beginner's stuff so don't expect too much. Haha
Hi there,
I'm having the same problem..
I did the EV higher and apparently in the small render preview on exposure control works fine!
but when I rendering on the main button turns all black.. However, I have done all the Vray settings right, GI enable, small shutter speed etc. also I upload some screenshots, if anyone can help me even a tiny bit I will be really pleased *.*
