Trouble getting V-ray sky to appear in render

I am working on a 360, stereoscopic exterior render. Upon using the vray sun light, a box popped up asking if I would like to automatically use vray sky as well, I said yes and continued. At first when I render it, it looks great and the gradient blue sky appears. But it is only there when I open the image in 3ds max. If I save the render and open the image separately the sky is simply alpha. I cant just put a sky photo behind it in photoshop as its 360 and has to wrap around seamlessly like the rest of the image.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, this "problem" is related to the file format settings when you export the image.

For example, with TIFF files, you can untick Store Alpha Channel in the settings. By forcing no alpha channel, you should see your blue sky. But of course, if you absolutely need the alpha channel, you will need to do some composition.

MR Sky or Vray Sky, like background colors are considered transparent.
