Slate UV Transform not working when rendered with Arnold

I have a Slate material shader that uses a UV Transform node to scale the UV v value before the texture lookup. In the viewport this works perfectly but when I render the scene with Arnold the scaling is no longer applied. The attached images show the material in the viewport working correctly, the same material when rendered and then the slate nodes for the material.
What am I doing wrong or is this a bug with Arnold? The other renderers render the scene correctly.
