rendering animation with backburner and change affinity on some pcs of the LAN

It was a very easy operation to do in the past (windows 7): change the affinity of cpu of a computer that is rendering a animation with 3ds max on the LAN with backburner (like a renderfarm).

I want to be able to do that becose during the day 6 of the most powerfull processors in the office are also used by workers but actually if is a 32 core for example we can still make it render with like 18 core and it work fine.

Is ok also if i have to install a software to bypass the problem of 3ds max that take back the affinity every single frame (IN THE PAST IT TOOK BACK THE AFFINITY AFTER EVERY JOB AND IT WAS GOOD)

Hi @Anonymous!

As mentioned on the phone, from our side there is no known way to reproduce in Windows 10 the feature you used in Windows 7. Perhaps some user has a suggestions about a script or a 3rd party plugin.
