rendering a simple wireframe

Hello, I just want to render a very simple wireframe without being able to see through it.

Only front facing wires.  And no hidden/obscured wires.

When I leave 2-sided UNchecked in both render settings and material settings, I am not seeing back facing wires in the render, BUT I do see ALL front facing wires. 

I would like to totally obscure any geometry that is behind any other geometry - including any "front face wires" that are also behind other geometry.

Hi, there are really nice tutorials on YouTube, have you watched them? Or do you want the entire object to be see-through? You can try one of therse methods and eventually do some work in post production.

A screen shot showing what you have currently (and maybe an example of what you're trying to get) would go a long way in helping to understand what you're after. 🙂

Use matte shadow to cut out irrelevant alpha with.

use wireframe matereial as usual with isolated object,

& composite it.

i dont know if you'd like this workaround?

Ink and Paint shader is really handy for Hidden Wireframe renders:

I usually turn the Paint off, and make the ink lines very thin and black.
