Render to texture produces black patches

Hi.
After a fresh install of 3ds Max 2021, the Render To Texture produces black patches. A am simply remapping an object on a new sheet, without any light/shadow set - just plain textures. The result is the same even when using the original UV layout, just rendering on a new texture sheet.
Everything seems to be set correctly.
(I have changed the resolution to 1024x1024 later)

I am not sure what those black areas are and where do they come from. I would highly appreciate your help.
