Render does not finish

Anonymous
Not applicable

So I was working on a render, but when I went to render it in Arnold, this is all that came out:

Error.png For comparison, the viewport looks like this:

eemikolaj_0-1616205527297.png

Note that I have to render it in Arnold because of the light I used.

What's going on?

A couple of things. If there is an issue with your scene, like missing textures, materials - Arnold will abort the render. Which make sense, because if something is missing, then you need it.

So, what does the Render Message window say? Also, if you can provide a log, then it is easier to see what is aborting the render and fix it.
