RCP Pointcloud in 3dsmax 2018/2019

Hi how do I render a RCP pointcloud in 2018/2019 with Arnold or any other build in renderer?

Followed these instructions with no luck:

My fault.

Switch to a much smaller pointcloud (4gb -> 760kb) and got it to render correctly. When I switched back to my large clouds they too started to render correctly.

Same project, same settings. Got no explanation, maybe some disk I/O?
