Parallel shadows

Hi guys! I'm new on the forum.

I'm wondering if there is any possibility to have parallel shadows.

I'm using vray and so I used the "vray sun", but. unfortunately the result is not what I was aiming for 😞

Here you can see attached my test.

As you can see the shadows are diverging, while I'd like to have them casting straight down. I tried to use all the other type of lights but it didn't work. I changed the distance and size of the light but nothing happened.

Does anyone know a solution for this?

Cheers 🙂

Did you try the standard direct light? That'll do it usually.

Sounds a bit like you are referring to the perspective of the camera rather than the shadows being parallel, which they should be with a V-Ray sun. Try using an orthographic camera (or a very narrow field of view / high focal length from far away).
