Howdy.
Updated to 2021.3 and my activeshade is giving different results from my production render.
I find more and more that this is a common occurrence and activeshade is becoming more unreliable. At least in the Arnold renderer world.
In the case of the attached screenshot, I'm using a Substance diamond plate texture rendering in Arnold. Yes- "Legacy 3ds map support" is on in both active shade and production modes. A simple planer UVW modifier has been added to a plane.
Update: Second screenshot added. Even more interesting.

No luck. Still seeing conflicting results in my active shade. Based on other reported issues I'm having, I also tried switching to Art renderer using a physical material and got worse results.
