Max 2020, Arnold, Crash when Output Denoising AOVs checked

MAXtoA version 3.0.77

With Output Denoising AOVs checked -  Right when the render finishes I get a hard crash. Happens every time on different files.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Your file has no denoise settings enabled, there is no indication wether you are using OptiX or the high quality denoiser.

So I set up a high quality denoiser, using the needed AOV elements that are required for it to work, and set up output files and input file.

Unfortunatly it works perfect here, impossible to crash.

But then again, I just set it up like normal, since there is nothing in your scene except some mesh, a light and a clean render panel with no denoiser added.

So, Im thinking, what exactly are you doing?

Can you upload the file with the settings you use, that you know will crash it?

See video of working construct.

Evidently I skipped some configuration selections and the program was extremely insulted and checked out.

I used your screen grab to properly set up and all appears yo be working now.

Thanks
