Hi, I'm new to setting up PBR materials in Max and having some inconsisency in shinyness between the render and viewport, any ideas why? I've imported the normals, roughness and metallic maps all set to override gamma 1. I've mostly followed this video. These particular assets were found for free online, with PBR textures.

You have made some changes to the Physical material that makes it non standard, like adding coat, or tamper with some settings.

I just rebuild the model and used my own PBRLoader OSL shader and jacked in the textures.

I get a reliable roughness both places, discounting accuracy lack from viewport, but I do no get sharp reflections in viewport.

You need max 2020.3 and Set viewport to High Quality mode, and all your materials set to high quality mode.

You can just stick in your textures to the max file here.
