Hi everyone, this is my first post here, I was looking for software to render my Advance Steel models, I have used Fusion 360 in the past and seeing as I have an AEC subscription I wanted to try 3DS Max but install was unsuccessful.
Any suggestions appreciated. See image attached
What install method were you using? Through manage.autodesk.com, you have the option to download a light installer which downloads components as you go (default), or you can download a much bulkier "offline" installer at around 8.6gb which may work better in your circumstance.

Sorry to hear that did not work. In this case I will refer you to this help article, which essentially asks you to try the same first step that I proposed but has a secondary portion that may help you dissect the installation log and identify a potential issue:
Is is for "Revit" but should apply the same to the 3ds Max installer
