So this thingy is a bit complicated to explain and I'm not even sure is this the proper subforum to ask this but if you could bear with me to explain;
The game I am playing taking the wetness information from Edit Vertex Colors - Color section. Problem is, I am not sure which is the correct color RGB to use, all I know is 255,0,0 RGB is for Hair and 255,128,0 RGB is for Clothes and Body.
However, for the game to correctly recognize the wetness, this Color thingy needs to set to a specific color, and then, through the Channel Info, 0:vc needs to be copied and pasted on -2:Alpha. Have no idea what this whole part is nor why it is required at all but no one knows why and I only learned it from a video tutorial by luck. Anyhow, once this is done, UVW Mapping Paste needs to collapsed on the Editable Mesh and Edit Vertex Colors - Color needs to be given a color depending on is the mesh a Hair, or Clothes/Body.
If this Channel Info thingy not done, game unable to recognize the wetness condition and the said mesh being wet while it shouldn't and always stays wet.
Now as for my issue, I want the rings and bracelets not to get wet, when it rains or when jumped on water. Because when they get wet their color looking extremely dull so I decided it would be better to just eliminate them getting wet at all.
However, I can't find the RGB Color used before the VC pasted on Alpha in that Channel Info thingy, and I can't figure which RGB I exactly need to make it not get wet.
My apologies for a long and boring, complicated message. As I don't have any knowledge on this Channel Info thingy at all, I don't know the scientific terms to summarize my question ๐
