Arnold texture nodes info?

I was wondering if there is any place where I could find more information about the nodes for composing a texture for Arnold? most of  information out there about textures are V-Ray  based and there are some sustantial differences on the nodes and how do they work on Arnold and it confuses me a lot...

For example I want to create a mix of 2 materials...

Using one base  color for the base... (imagine red)

...And using a bitmap (greyscale) I want to use it as a mask... (example removing black) while being able to change/ replace the white of the  mask by any other RGB color... so at the ending there would be white on top of red...

Its just to make some Dirt that doesnt use something like curvature or ambient oclussion.

I was trying to achieve it with "composite" that seem it has a mask option but I cant figure how exactly this works.

So its done, however if you know about info  about the nodes/ arnold renderer textures would be appreciated.

Don`t use the Mix-Shader. It`s buggy and looses it`s subtrees. Workaround is using the Blend-Material.
