Arnold Materials - Maya to Max problem

Before I start I must mention the software version i m using,

Maya 2022 - Arnold 7

Max 2022 - Arnold  7

As the title suggests, I am simply trying to import a 3d model in .fbx from Maya into Max but having problems in keeping the materials and its properties same in both of them.

For example:

Lets say I have a 3D model in Maya with aiStandard Surface material with Base color ( blue), Spec Roughness (0.2), Emission (0).

Now when I send this model either through Send to 3ds max option or as a .fbx into Max the 3d model does come with aiStandard surface applied but looses its materials properties such as Base color (grey) means default, Spec roughness changes and emission becomes 1 and etc.

I know if its just one 3d model its not a big deal recreating or adjusting the materials but Since I am trying to import and export a larger number of 3d models in between Maya and Max, so its very unpleasant to recreate the materials again and again.

Someone advised me to use the same version of Maya n Max and the Arnold receptively but still it did not solve the problem. Any solutions to this shall be highly appreciated. Cheers!

You could use ASS files. When you export the file it will export shaders, lights, basically everything. Just keep in mind that you will not be able to change the 3d model. Is basically a proxy.
