Arnold IPR hangs when stopping, but only if the slate material editor is open

Hi

I am rendering scenes that are pretty heavy. Lots of objects and materials.

The problem I am having is that when using Arnold ipr render, if I have the slate material editor open when I press stop on the ipr, max hangs, doesn't crash, but can hang for around 8 minutes. If I stop an ipr when I dont have the slate material editor open I can carry on working after just a couple of seconds.

I can have the slate editor open and adjust materials when using ipr, close it and stop the ipr and it is fine.

So the only difference between max hanging or not is if the slate editor is open when stopping ipr.

Obviously I could just remember to close slate, but that doesn't always happen.

This is a real workflow killer, when I sometimes just do a render that can be 30 seconds or a minute then have to wait for minutes for Max to return to life.

Has anyone else had this problem or know a way to prevent it happening?

Thanks
