AEC walls texutring

i have AEC walls but i am having a problem, i have the main walls which is brick and a half a bathroom walls which is tiled but i cannot put a tile texture on the main walls because that will effect the brick texutre, i was told to divide the walls but when i try it that doesn't work,

can any body shoot me a video over? i have looked on youtube but most of the AEC walls are painted white,

You could create a second wall (very thin) for the tiles and place it in front of the brick wall.
