Switch to Python 3 for pymxs and MaxPlus

I know this is a somewhat ambiguous post but, has there been any talk of when to expect a version of 3ds Max that makes the switch to Python 3?

I have seen one spot deep in the documentation that mentions it briefly but it doesn't say much. I feel like I'm in this limbo state where I am still supporting Python 2.7 but the rest of the world has moved on to Python 3. This is making it difficult for me to set up my development environments (I'm inexperienced at this as is). It also has me worried that any tools I create in the near future could suddenly need updating all at once.

I know there are a few tools out there for porting over Python 2 code to Python 3 but I just wish i could rip the band-aid off and be fully on 3 finally.

Python 3 is the default in 2021 (you have to run a commandline switch to legacy to use 2.7) so the switch you talk about already happened.
