objects for plugins import export

Hello,
tell me, using the example of the vrml export plugin
in this plug-in, classes of objects are created that are registered when the plug-in is initialized during startup and become available when working in 3ds max, such as LOD, Switch.
Is it possible to create these objects in  the vrml import plugin? and how to access the objects of these classes if they are included in the export plugin?
