resetting NT in script controllers

I have script controllers. I changed the animation length for the file. But Normalized Time (NT) in the script controllers is still calculated using the previous animation length. How do I set NT so that it references the actual current animation length and not the previous one?

the easiest way is:

setTimeRange s animationrange

where s is a script controller to adjust
