Quad Shortcuts Not Getting Saved

The title says it all. After Assigning a shortcut to a custom quad menu it is not getting saved. Saving the .mnux (also overwriting the MaxStartUI.kbdx) and .kbdx file doesn't help. Windows account and programm is running as admin.
