Outdated Python version in max 2015 :(

Currently there is a outdated python use in max 2015: python v2.7.3

The current release is v2.7.9 and IMHO there a some security vulnerabilities fixed!

btw. what's about Python 3 ?!?

Hello,

Yes, this is correct. We are supporting the python versions that other Autodesk products are supporting. So 2.7.3 is the main version right now. We are not aware of any requests for python 3.x. This version seems mainly concerned with Unicode support, and there are other ways to handle that in 2.7 versions. The masses seem to be using 2.7 and that is what we chose to support.
