Hi , I am trying to merge a big max file containing around 100 objects that each has around
6-7 multisub each. The merge is really slow, it takes up to 5 mins. My goal is to have a reference of that max file. So I am doing a big process after the merge that attaches the objects together and reduce the submaterial counts by removing the duplicates. So i end up with around 6-7 big meshes with 50 multisubs and less. (This improves my framerate in the viewport because working with a 100 objects is much slower).
If anyone got any idea of how i could either reduce my merging time or even improve my framerate in the viewport , please feel free to post!
