Is it possible that 3dsmax 2019 use a plugin made by 3dsmax2018 sdk

As the title i made a plugin for 3dsmax2018 by 3dsmax2018 sdk,but is  it possible to use this plugin in 3dsmax2019?

Quick answer to this question is NO, from 3dsmax 2020 there is a backward computibility that you can use 3dsmax 2020 and 2021 plugin but even in this version developer should set a flag to let you do it.

However, recompiling the plugin for new version of 3dsmax take no time just replace the SDK adress mostlly and heat build.
