Hi,
I've got a big file with a complicated hierarchy and display layer structure in Maya. When I import it into 3dsmax, the hierarchy is still there, but all objects go into the 0 - default layer! What's even weirder is that the original layers are still imported, yet there are no objects in them. It's the same if I use Send to max or export-import through fbx. What can be causing it? How to make objects migrate inside their layers?
