HELP!!! Autodesk 3ds Max 2010 || VS 2012/2010

Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie and would like to start developing plugins. I currently own Autodesk 3ds Max 2010.
If I buy Visual Studio 2012 or 2010, will I be able to write for Max 2010?

The link here says version 9(Visual Studio 2008):
http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-SDK-Programmer-Guide/index.html?url=files/GUID-6E179A...

BUT Microsoft is not OFFERING 2008 to be purchased.

Thanks in Advance!!!

yes you can use them.

I personally use visualstudio 2010 for all my development of plugins.

You can also download the express version, and the pre-release of windows 8 with visualstudio 2012 for testing.

Hey,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Express Edition lets you make plugin? How is that? not using .rc?
