I want to know the difference between the Command Classes PICK_COMMAND and PICK_EX_COMMAND

well.. I also can't tell you, but: it exists since Max9 at least (an older ver I do not have installed) and the default return of PickCommandMode class is PICK_EX_COMMAND. I would say PICK_COMMAND was replaced by PICK_EX_COMMAND.
