Why are edit envelopes not working? w/file

Hi, I've watched a lot of tutorials and looked at all the settings on my skin but I can't figure this out. I'm trying to edit the envelopes but when I change the shape of the envelope nothing changes with the effected area. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DHH3JA8ge01DA_NZOo-1jKtKh1GiFsnr/view?usp=sharing

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous,

Here's what i found:

There's 2 Bips in the rig, bip001 moves nothing, but all the biped bones are bip1. Bip002 moves the rig.

I deleted the skin, applied a new one, added all bones except bip001 and the envelopes are editing nicely. Can you give that a try? Thanks!

Thank you for your response, @raiden_xavier .

But would you mind explaining this again? I checked my list of added bones and I didn't see one in there for bip001, the only one I ever had attached was bip002. Unless you mean you didn't attach any of the bones starting with "bip001" in the name. Bip001 belongs to the hidden biped, bip002 is the visible rig within the mesh.

I wanted to add an update. I think Voxel Solver is the problem. When I add the bones to the rig and go to edit envelopes, it allows me to edit them although it is spotty and still somewhat of a problem, but is a step closer to the solution. The error occurs when I apply the voxel solver, then it's like envelopes "lock" and I can no longer edit them.
