Which modifier to use in lowering the poly count for game engine?

Hi I am working on a mobile game with friend and we are trying to figure out which modifier to use for lowering the poly count for importing into a game engine like Unity. In these screenshots I am using the Optimize modifier which is creating tris and distorting the UVs on this rocket. Is there anyway around this in lowering the poly count without any UV distortion and maintaining a good wireframe? Thanks!
