Would anyone know the best way to model Velcro?

I have a cloth bracelet modeled but on one end of an inch of the "hook" half of the Velcro then on the reverse side and opposite end is an inch of the "loop" half of the velcro. I need to have it as realistic as possible I just haven't really done anything quite like it before.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I would use renderable splines, scattered on a surface, to capture the essence of those bristles.  However, unless you are planning to render the model as close as you see it in those pictures, you won't need to use very detailed splines.  just 3 vertices per spline should be enough for most shots, but if you are getting "macro" with the item, then you'll need more resolution.  There are different ways to scatter splines on a surface.  There's plugins that can help with that, and Maxscripts out there that can do it relatively quickly. Here's an example of a Maxscript that can help:

You might also try the Hair/Fur modifier in Max, with different settings, and create a mesh from it.  That could end up being too high poly, but with the right settings, might work also.

That is a great idea.  It won't be near that close-up. This should work great.

Really appreciate the help.
