HELP Weird edged faces transparency problem

Hi, I'm having an issue with my 3DS Max model. When I click F4 to enable edged faces, the objects in ONE of the viewports becomes semi-transparent, so I can see the edges through the grey mesh. X-ray view is off and this affects all parts of the model. I tried playing with backface culling and materials but to no avail. Strangely, it only affects one of the viewports. Please help me resolve this issue..

Attached are two screenshots of my scene.

Thank you in advance!

Show end result in the Modifier Stack? When you save and reload the scene is a still a problem?

Thanks for the suggestion but toggling end result didn't help either..Yes, I tried relaunching Max a few times and even restarting the computer.

This problem exists indeed. I have faced it many times. It happens when toggling between F2, F3, or F4. And, it mainly affects the Perspective View (not an object but the Perspective View itself). The solution that works fine for me is to toggle to the Orthographic (or some other views, for example Back, Front, etc) View in the window displaying the semitransparent object(s), click on the semitransparent object to highlight it, and press Alt + mouse wheel to turn the object. The View will toggle to the Perspective one with an appropriate display of the object. Hope, it will help!

Hi, for those who still have this problem what it worked for me was going to the list of view modes top left of the viewport - select "Extended Viewports" - select "Shape" mode and then change it again to Perspective. This solved my problem of seeing the edges from behind the object when it was in Perspective/Edged Faces. (3dsMax 2023)
