Take an Image and Extrude It

I have an image that I would like to extrude, along with the text. Please see this link.

The issue is, I exported it from Illustrator as a .dwg file into 3DS max, and nothing is showing up.

I really need help with this. Please help me!!

I haven't used this in a while but it's a great script for tracing bitmaps in max.

Also, if you want to export from illustrator to max, save a copy of your illustrator file as version Illustrator 8, this can be imported in to max.

That might be just as easy to reproduce directly inside of max, using splines.  You can extrude curved lines to create the wave parts, and then just add the text.  You'd have to find the correct fonts, of course, but Max can use any fonts you have on your system.  Not sure why the export isn't working for you though.  Can you try illustrator 3 format?

Just export those paths from Photoshop, not AI.

It's weird but I have tested it and it works!

Check my attached files for tutorial and my example.

Artur_GF, I cannot export the paths to illustrator, it is not bringing both parts of the infinity. Can you do this for me?

It would be greatly appreciated, I just am very new to photoshop and illustrator and I am having a hard time completing that step.

Will you be able to do this?

Please check my attachments.

Exported path, 3ds max 2013 scene with this path already imported.

And a screen shot.

I hope this is what you needed.
