rotating object around free axis

Hello! I wanted to know how to rotate an object on a free axis (a line that I create - by two points). Tried to figure this out for so long 😞

In the image i pointed out the line/axis...

For modeling purposes or for animation? For Modeling you could use the Working Pivot, for animation you would want to create a Dummy at the point you want the object to rotate about, Select and Link the object to the Dummy and animate the rotation of the Dummy.
