plug in autocad 3d modelling file into autodesk 3ds max

May i know whether i can plug in the autocad 3d modelling file into autodesk 3ds max or not? Is there any problem?

you can either import it in or link it. linking it allows you to update the model if you make further changes to it in autocad.

file>import

or

file>file link manager
