I have created a snow scene, and have added snow using particle source. The snow shows up in the viewport, but when i look at the rendered images, the particles aren't incldued. Someone knows the answer to this question?
A screenshot of how i have set the particles up:
Not enough data from the screenshot. My current guess is that it has something to do with the Shape operator (maybe too small?).
If you set the Display operator to "Geometry", do you see the particles in the viewport?
They do show up, but barely. But i have set the settings for how i want them to be. It must be possible to render out with dots?

Hello,
I am encountering the same problem.
I bought an animation of a dandiline being blown.
I configured the particle system.
I have display geometry on and it displays all particles correctly in the viewport.
If I use real time render with Vray and move slowly, the effect works great.
If I skip to a frame in the middle of the flow, no particles shows up in the render.
When rendering the entire sequence, the particles dont show up at all.
Any ideas?
Caching didnt work but I found the issue.
Dont know if its a bug or just me not working with particle flow the last 4 years.
The flow has 2 events
1: Birth/Position/Speed/Rotation/Shape/Collision/Display
2: Force/Material/Display
I put display on Geometry and the viewport showed everything just fine, the Geometry just wouldnt render.
I copied the shape operator into the 2. event and voila it worked.
Dont understand why the viewport showed it before.
I thought shape stays and you only need a new operator if you change the shape.
It worked nevertheless.
