Hello. I am trying to create NURBS surface inside 3DS Max, lofting simple geometry (circle) along custom spline curve by use of NURBS "1-Rail" command.
The result of operation every time have an issue - surface always deformed betwen 2 first section-geometries.
Does any one know why that happening?
Neen to create exactly NURBS-surf for exporting it to CAD softwate.

The problem could be that the next to the last circle is rotated.
You would probably get better results by using the sweep modifier with the spline and a single circle rather than using loft.

The problem was solved. I have edited first section-spline (ring) by using command Geometry->Reverse. It worked ideal and I was able to get nice suface and export it to Autodesk Inventor.
