How to select all faces with the same color?

Hello!

I have an imported FBX in my 3ds max scene. it has different face color assigned to where i need different material ID. How can i select all faces with the same color so i can assign material id or different materials to them? Manually selecting the polys is not an option because there are hundred thousands of faces.

-if you are refering to object color - go to Edit Menu, then choose Select By then Color..
- if you are refering to Material Diffuse color - select the object, go to modify then Polygon/Material IDs, Select ID
