How to remove unwanted edges/vertices without deleting face
I've made the rear part of an old Bugatti. I want to remove the edges marked with green.When I try to remove them, the face gets removed. Is there a solution?
Thanks for replying, but I figured it out. I just connected the vertices of the unwanted edges to the vertices of the edges I'm using and then weld them. It perfectly removes it and it easies your workflow. I hope this helps.

In the modification panel in Edit Vertices there is a button "Remove".
Control + BackSpace is different then BackSpace and different then Delete buttons.
