How to prevent a file from editing

I have a file so i want it to be 3d printed, how i can send it to the printing company, so that i can be sure they can't edit it.

I don't think that is possible. After all, what a 3d file is really is a list of xyz coordinates for a bunch of points. Any program that can import a 3d file can be used to move one of those points or vertices around.

3d printers work the same way. They read the files and then slice the model up into xy coordinates with a z coordinate that relates to a layer. Once they have imported your 3d file they can just export an .stl from the 3d printer and you have a file that is fully editable.

It might be one of those situations where a signed document stating that they won't modify the file is the best way to protect it from alteration. That doesn't guarantee that they won't but it gives you something to stand on if you wanted to go after them later.
