How to create a straight line in the Z axis

Hi!

I need to know how to create a straight line in Z axis.

For example, I want to create a height line in the Z axis. But when I try to do it the line becomes inclined on the axis Y.

How can I create a straight line in the X,Y,Z axis?

At AutoCAD I use F8 to straight the lines, is there something like this to help me at 3DS max?

1-Switch to front viewport.

2-Enabled snaps toggle and right click on snaps toggle icon to enabled Grid Points.

3-Now your line will be straight 90°.

4-Finally draw your line on the Grid Points.

*also you can make it on X-axis or Y-axis and then rotate it 90° on the Z-axis.
